This past Friday, the Tree Health Professionals at Gregory Forrest Lester, Inc. gathered for our September Lunch and Learn, with a focus on perfecting pruning techniques. Led by Oliver Lester, one of our ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, the session highlighted the importance of making proper cuts and choosing the correct location for those cuts to promote tree health.
Learning
Oliver walked our team through the '4 D's of pruning'—removing dead, dying, diseased, and deformed branches. This crucial step helps maintain tree health and safety. Proper pruning not only removes potential hazards but also encourages healthy growth and natural healing in trees. Oliver stressed that well-placed cuts allow trees to heal efficiently, preventing future decay or infections and ensuring long-term health.
Celebrating
In addition to the educational session, we also launched our new Employee of the Month program! ISA Board Certified Master Arborist Kevin Lester, with the help of our beloved mascot, Lester Leaf, read out stellar client reviews we've received since July. We were thrilled to recognize Hunter as our July Employee of the Month, Jack for August, and Amari for September. Each of these individuals has demonstrated exceptional dedication to their work, and we couldn’t be prouder.
If you've had a great experience with our team, we encourage you to leave a Google review. Your feedback helps us acknowledge the hard work of our crew and motivates us to continue delivering excellent service. We look forward to making the Employee of the Month recognition a highlight of all future meetings!
Thank you to our team and our clients for making Gregory Forrest Lester, Inc. the company we are today!
