We are looking for a Tree Work Groundman to support our tree climbers and bucket truck operators from the ground. In this role, you will be essential to our daily operations by ensuring a safe job site, operating ground equipment, and managing debris clearance. Job Description
Responsibilities:
Prepare the job-site by setting up cones, signs, and safety barriers; maintain a clear and secure perimeter around dropping zones
Assist tree climbers by rigging gear and passing tools/equipment up to the canopy
Safely operate and maintain chainsaws, wood chippers, leafblowers, and hand tools
Clear the client's property of debris by dragging brush, heavy logs, and raking debris, ensuring the area is left pristine
Work closely with crew leaders and team members to complete jobs efficiently
Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
Requirements:
18 years of age or older
Valid driver’s license
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
Ability to work safely and effectively in a team setting
